Ronaldo doesn't want Messi to win the World Cup 2022
Brazil legend Ronaldo said in a recent interview that he did not want to see Messi win the World Cup for Argentina.
With the World Cup Qatar approaching, Ronaldo, when asked about Brazil's situation, said that Vinicius must start and he should be the first choice of any team. Neymar seems to be in good shape too.
Ronaldo said that Brazil has a lot of talents on the offensive line, and coach Tite will face happy troubles, because he still has Jesus, and Richarlison is also a guaranteed striker, and Antony, so looking forward to his next plan.
Talking about the fact that this is Messi's last World Cup performance and whether he wants to see Messi achieve his ultimate dream, Ronaldo said he wouldn't mind if he played for Spain, but Brazil will be competing with Argentina. While Ronaldo himself has great respect for Argentina, he cannot stand the fact that they are the champions in this World Cup. Ronaldo said though he likes Messi, but will not support him, and he will definitely understand.
Brazil and Argentina are arch-enemies in South America. Ronaldo can't say he wants Messi to win the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar next month.
Messi is 35 years old, and this World Cup is the last chance to play for it that Messi himself admits. He has lifted many trophies in his career, including the Copa America, but has yet to experience winning on the World Cup stage. A runner-up finish at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil has so far been the best result.
