Jurgen Klopp Will Not Be Sacked by Liverpool

After losing 3-0 to Brighton Hove Albion in the Premier League at the weekend, Liverpool have been unable to win in three games and have also lost two consecutive Premier League matches. This season has been the worst result for the German coach since he arrived at Anfield in 2015, and the team is currently in 9th place in the table. Player injuries have seriously affected Liverpool's results, leaving Klopp's managerial position in crisis.

In an interview with Klopp, he said, "Either the manager's position changes or a lot of other things change. Now is the time they need to make changes, and the fans will see that in the future, maybe in the summer. The club will give him enough space and time to think about it and make the team play better soccer.


Klopp's time at Liverpool has been with a stable squad and team that has enabled them to win the Champions League, Premier League, World Club Cup, FA Cup and Carabao Cup before. He had made some tweaks in the past years, but he refuted claims of putting too much faith in certain players who were not performing well.
“I am loyal. I think everybody should be loyal, but I am not too loyal. The problem is too complex. You have a good player who did a lot of good things in the past and then in your mind [you think] maybe that's it for him. If you can then go out and bring in another player to replace [him] that makes sense. If you cannot bring anybody in you cannot bring anybody out. That is the situation.” He explained.
He has spoken about how the current squad is no longer capable of reaching the highest level of the Premier League or European competition. The club is also looking for more investment to support the rebuilding plan he has set for Liverpool in the summer.
