Everton facing shock NINE-POINT deduction
Everton are facing further financial woes and could be hit with a second points deduction in the Premier League, potentially plunging them into administration.

Three clubs, Burnley, Leeds, and Leicester, are seeking £300 million ($374m) in compensation from Everton for their alleged financial irregularities. If the trio's demands are met, Everton could face another points deduction and risk going out of business. The club's proposed takeover by 777Partners could also be affected, with the company likely to pay a reduced fee if Everton is relegated or forced to pay compensation.

Everton was recently handed a 10-point deduction for violating the Premier League's profit and sustainability rules. The club is appealing the decision and has vowed to fight any attempt to force them to pay compensation to other teams. The 10-point deduction is the most severe in Premier League history and leaves Everton second-bottom of the division, two points from safety. If they were to be docked more points, they would be in serious danger of relegation.

Everton, who are unbeaten in their last four matches, will appeal against the punishment handed down to them this week. Their next match is against Manchester United on November 26.
